WONDERLAND

WONDERLAND is the second ending theme of the original Kamiwaza Wanda season and the second ending theme in the Kamiwaza Wanda series. It is sung by RADIO FISH. It replaced Samba de Wanda, starting from episode 23.

It is written by the RADIO FISH boy band themselves and composed by BAGUZERO with help from TATSUYA. BAGUZERO also arranged this ending theme as well.

It was first announced on Youtube by Corocoro Channel in late September 2016 along with the Bagutte Iijan opening theme.

The animation for this ending theme shows clips from the selected ones of the original Kamiwaza Wanda anime season's first 22 episodes.

The ending was updated 3 times during the original anime season's run on its first broadcast on television. The ending lasts from 'Counterattack Of The Bug Bytes' to 'Bring Down Bugdez!'. A special original season after-story version of the ending appears only in the original season's finale 'Forever Wanda!'.

4 days later after being first seen as an ending in episode 23, WONDERLAND was later released as a single on October 5th 2016.

According to its lyrics, this song is dedicated to the Kamiwaza Wanda series' two main characters: Wanda, who is also the mascot of the Kamiwaza Wanda franchise, and Yuto.

Ending animation[]

The ending starts out with a letter 'W' drawn into the scene. Various scenes from early episodes from the original Kamiwaza Wanda season start appearing in the background. In front of then are Yuto and Wanda dancing. They reveal from their silhouettes in the beginning after the drawing of the 'W' was completed the dance carries on throuhout the ending. Just for a single second when "KAMIWAZA SHOT！！" was heard, Wanda was seen, with his sunglasses on, striking a pose. The final part in the animation shows a closer scene Yuto and Wanda dancing in a gradient background.

This is a special original season after-story version of the ending. The whole animation in this ending is replaced by various extra after-story scenes: At Kirakira First Street, a few days later after the events of the original season finale, Yuto calls for Turbomin to boost Yuto's skateboard, Mirai takes a ride on Railmin's train and Shuu bounces high using Banemin. At Kirakira Elementary School, Souma and Nicole came to see Yuto, Mirai and Shuu. Yuto looks up at the sky through the classroom window, seeing how the other 3 Kamiwaza Teammates are doing. In the Wonder-Star, Mighty, Nice and Amazing were at Wonder-King's Castle, watching the Wonder-King. Just for a single second, Wanda was seen, with his sunglasses on, striking a pose. Back on Earth, Mirai uses Fukumin to transform herself. Wanda warns Yuto and Masato that there more Bugmins. With their Promin buddies, the 4 Kamiwaza Power-Shooters Yuto, Masato, Mirai and Shuu all set off to find those Bugmins to deal with. Mako and Yui are both waving at Yuto, his 2 friends Mirai and Shuu and Masato. Next the Mako and Yui are a photo of Yuto, Yui, Wanda, Mirai and Shuu, which was taken in the end scene of the original season finale, and the new family photo next to it. The final shot shows a closer look of the new family photo which was similar to the one from the flashback in the original season premiere but of Yuto and Yui, their parents and Wanda.

  • This song and Bagutte Iijan are the only 2 songs that are not released as part of the Kamiwaza Wanda song collection.
  • This song appears as the eighth track on RADIO FISH's 2016 album 'WORLD IS MINE'.
  • This is the first ending in the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series to include a human character in its animation. It was Yuto.
  • Unlike Samba de Wanda, this song was published by YOSHIMOTO R and C instead of Being Records.
  • This is the first ending to have a one-time special version.
  • When this ending song was first used during the original anime season's first broadcast on television, the animation of Yuto and Wanda dancing was absent and the ending animation was cut to the clips from the episode this ending appeared on when it reaches the chorus part of the song. After that, the final scene showing Yuto and Wanda appears at the end. This debuting version of the ending appears from 'Counterattack Of The Bug Bytes' to 'The Strongest Awasewaza!'. When original season episodes 'Masato's Black Trap' to 'Kamiwaza Panda' first air on the television, the clips in the final part of the ending, from the episode that the ending appears on, is replaced with a scene showing Yuto and Wanda dancing to the ending. The official animation for the WONDERLAND ending debuted on the Japanese television when the original season episode 'A Surprising Big Riot!' first aired on television.
  • In the TV size version of this ending theme, the chorus part of the song was extended as the TV size version itself used both first and second choruses from its full version counterpart.
  • Japanese composer APAZZI has been credited for the composition of this ending song under his alternative name: BAGUZERO.
