ViuTV is a Chinese channel known for broadcasting both Chinese subbed and Chinese dubbed versions of Kamiwaza Wanda.
Channel details[]
ViuTV was first launched as a test transmission on Now TV on March 31, 2016 and on the DTT on April 2, 2016. Then, it was officially launched on April 6, 2016. It is operated by HK Television Entertainment. (Chinese translation: 香港電視娛樂有限公司) Its English-speaking sister channel, ViuTVsix, was first launched nearly a year later on March 31, 2017.
For many years, ViuTV broadcasted many programs in China's Hong Kong area. All well as shows produced in China, ViuTV broadcasts shows originated from the USA, the UK, South Korea and Japan. It broadcasts the shows originated from those 4 countries in 2 versions: one of them is the original version, with the language of the country the show comes from (English if the show, such as a Western cartoon series, comes from the UK or the USA, Korean if the show, such as a Korean cartoon, comes from South Korea and Japanese if the show, such as an Japanese anime series, comes from Japan), with Chinese subtitles and the other is the Chinese dubbed version.
3 Chinese music groups, COLLAR, ERROR and MIRROR, were formed by ViuTV via its talent show series King Maker.
In 2020, ViuTV reached a milestone of 4 million audiences.
Kamiwaza Wanda[]
On June 26, 2017, ViuTV began broadcasting the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series, starting with the original season, in 2 versions:
- The original Japanese version with Chinese subtitles.

The anime series is distributed under its Chinese translated title 'Super Wanda'. (Traditional: 超能旺達, Simplified: 超能旺达)
The series later moved to a new channel on HK Open TV (now changed to HOYTV) from September 28, 2022 on weekdays (but subtle to various broadcasting timeslot changes).
