Mitsuo Hashimoto (Japanese: 橋本 みつお) is a director involved in Kamiwaza Wanda. He is involved in the original Kamiwaza Wanda anime season.

Biography[]

Mitsuo Hashimoto was born somewhere in Japan at an unknown year of birth.

Mitsuo Hashimoto previously worked under his signature (橋本 光夫) which pronounces the same but he had changed it as if a manga artist of the same name was using that signature.

Mitsuo Hashimoto is known for his work on several anime shows, movies and OVAs of the 'Dragon Ball' franchise and the anime shows and films of the 'Dr. Slump & Arale-chan' franchise for Toei Animation. He is also known for being the director of the 'Twinbee' franchise's OVA 'TwinBee: Winbee no ⅛ Panic' in 1994 and the 'Tamagotchi' franchise's very first anime movie 'Tamagotchi: Honto no Hanashi' in 1997.

Mitsuo Hashimoto also worked as a director for the third instalment of the 'Beyblade' anime series and two instalments of the 'Battle B-Daman' anime series. Both 'Beyblade' and 'Battle B-Daman' franchises are created by Takara before merging with Tomy to become Takara Tomy.

In 2016, Mitsuo Hashimoto was chosen to be the director of the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series' original season. He also provided the storyboards for the original season premiere 'An Emissary From The Wonder-Star' and the original season finale 'Forever Wanda!'.
