Mayumi Watanabe (Japanese: 渡辺真由美) is a character designer involved in Kamiwaza Wanda. She is involved in Kamiwaza Wanda.
Biography[]
Mayumi Watanabe was born in Chiba, Japan on February 05, 1964.
Mayumi Watanabe studied animation at a Japanese college under the animation department and she was then graduated a few years later.
Mayumi Watanabe began her career working for many anime in Japan: Designing characters, providing key animation, doing in-between animation, designing, performing animation checks, finalising and doing animation directions.
She worked on many TV anime shows, less web anime, less OVA anime and less anime movies.
For the 1991 Studio Ghibli anime movie 'Only Yesterday', Mayumi Watanabe did the inking and the painting for the film's animation. She also worked as a chief producer for the live-action 2017 movie 'Gintama'.
Mayumi Watanabe worked for the 'Happy Lesson' series, starting with the 5-episode direct-to-video OVA anime series of the same name and finishing with a 3-episode 2004 direct-to-video OVA anime 'Happy Lesson The Final'. She also worked on the 'Happy Lesson' TV anime series and its sequel 'Happy Lesson Advanced'.
For Takara Tomy's 'Shinkalion' spin-off of the 'Plarail' franchise, Mayumi Watanabe worked as an animation director and a key animator for the 2019 movie 'Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: Mirai Kara Shinsoku no ALFA-X'.
