Maeda-Kun (Japanese: まえだくん) is a Japanese children's manga artist involved in the Kamiwaza Wanda franchise and the creator is the franchise's spin-off manga series Kamiwaza Wanda: Mysterious Joker Promin Stories.

History[]

Maeda-Kun was born in February 3, 1991 in Tokyo, Japan.

Maeda-Kun is a huge fan of the Nintendo franchises and on his Twitter account, he posts his tweets about Nintendo's own game titles as well as retweeting the tweets of Nintendo's official Japanese Twitter account.

Other things he like are space, deserts, polar-views and delicious tempura. His hobbies are using stationeries, playing cards, producing videos and using cameras.

In 2011, Maeda-Kun began working on some children's manga. Since 2014, he had been working on a manga series 'Hyachha ♪ Funassyi', focusing on one of the famous Japanese mascots Funassyi!

Kamiwaza Wanda: Mysterious Joker Promin Stories[]

In February 2016, Maeda-Kun serialised a 4-koma manga series entitled Kamiwaza Wanda: Mysterious Joker Promin Stories which is the first spin-off manga series in the Kamiwaza Wanda franchise.

From February 29, 2016 to December 29 of the same year, the Kamiwaza Wanda: Mysterious Joker Promin Stories spin-off manga series lasted for 11 parts and were published on Corocoro Comic Special by Shogakukan. The spin-off manga series mainly focuses on the Promins, mostly Turbomin, while Yuto and Wanda play the roles as the supporting characters. It is unknown if Kamiwaza Wanda: Mysterious Joker Promin Stories was published in manga volumes yet.

  • Maeda-Kun is one of the first 2 manga artists who work for the Kamiwaza Wanda franchise. The other one being Chihiro Okitsune who worked for the original Kamiwaza Wanda manga series.
  • Maeda-Kun is also known for several other children's 4-koma manga titles such as the one based of Namco-Bandai's 'Taiko no Tatsujin' franchise and the one based on the Nintendo 3DS games 'Pokemon Ultra-Sun' and 'Pokemon Ultra-Moon'.
