The Kirakira TV news reporter makes her debut in episode 19 when she was announcing the TV special that is going to take place in Kirakira First Street with Nicole as the host. Yuto, Wanda, Nicole, Mirai and Shuu were watching her doing so on television while Souma looks at the papers.

- Like the Kirakira TV director and the HKT48-style idol trio, the Kirakira TV news reporter does not make her cameo appearances in episode 46 and episode 47.
- The Kirakira TV news reporter is loosely based on Himitsu who is the main protagonist in the 'Cocotama' anime series' first instalment 'Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama' which aired from October 2015, replacing the original 'Tamagotchi!' TV anime series in its initial timeslot, to August 2018.
