Kappei Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口 勝平), whose real name is Mitsuo Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口 光雄), is a voice actor involved in Kamiwaza Wanda. He voices the franchise's titular character Wanda in the Japanese dub of Kamiwaza Wanda.
Biography[]
Kappei Yamaguchi was born in Fukuoka, Japan in May 23, 1965 under the name Mitsuo Yamaguchi.
He is best known for voicing characters in long-running popular anime shows and also known for voicing characters in many video-games. The first anime character he provided the voice of was the male half of Ranma Saotome who is the main protagonist of the anime 'Ranma ½' which aired from 1989 to 1992 with only 2 instalments.
Sometimes, Kappei Yamaguchi provided voices for characters from adult-oriented anime. For example: For 'Viper GTS', he voiced Ogawa which a supporting character who summons all the devils, mostly because of Carerra, and for the 'La Blue Girl' and 'Lady Blue' series, he provided the voice of a child-like supporting ninja character named Nin-Nin.
Kappei Yamaguchi also provided the Japanese dubbing roles for several western animations such as Bugs Bunny from the 'Looney Tunes' franchise, Mort from the 'Madagascar' series, Larry the Cucumber from 'Veggietales', 6 characters from 'South Park' and Michelangelo from the 2012 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' TV series as well as providing the Japanese voice of Mr. Red M&M for the 'M&M's' commercials.
Kappei Yamaguchi also voiced Ticket, a supporting good character, along with the COM voice for the ToQger equipment in the 'Super Sentai' franchise's 2014 instalment 'Ressha Sentai ToQger'. He voiced Ticket again, as a guest voice actor this time, in episode 32 of the 'Super Sentai' franchise's 2024 instalment 'Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger'.

Kamiwaza Wanda[]
Kappei Yamaguchi provided the voice for the Kamiwaza Wanda franchise's titular character Wanda who is one of the 2 lead protagonists alongside Yuto in the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series.
Kappei Yamaguchi also voiced Natadene-Kun who is the main protagonist in the 'Natadecoco Panic' cartoon within the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series.
Samba de Wanda and Kamiwaza Promin-Zu[]
Kappei Yamaguchi also sang 2 songs as his character Wanda.
One of the songs is Samba de Wanda which is the first ending theme in the original Kamiwaza Wanda anime season and the first ending theme in the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series overall. This ending theme lasted from episode 1 to episode 22 and was then replaced by RADIO FISH's WONDERLAND, starting from episode 23.
Another one of the songs is Kamiwaza Promin-Zu which is an inset song about the Promins. It appeared as a series of episode-ending mini-anime segments in the original Kamiwaza Wanda anime season, starting from episode 24.
