South Korea is the second country in the world to see Kamiwaza Wanda and the first country to do so outside of Japan. Tooniverse, JEI Talent TV, KBS Kids and Cartoon Network Korea, as well as South Korea's Animax, are the known channels for broadcasting Kamiwaza Wanda in South Korea, starting from September 02, 2016.
When it is broadcasted in South Korea, Kamiwaza Wanda is dubbed in Korean under the name Power-Catch Wanda. (Translated in Korean: 파워캐치 완다)
When South Korean broadcastings of the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series began in September 02, 2016, the original Kamiwaza Wanda anime season was split into 2 parts with the first part lasting for 26 episodes from September 02, 2016 to November 25, 2016 and the second part lasting for only 21 episodes from March 03, 2017 to May 12, 2017.
South Korean broadcastings of the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series might do the same thing to further Kamiwaza Wanda anime seasons in the future.
Merchandising[]
Korean-language books based on the Kamiwaza Wanda franchise were released, making South Korea the first country to include activity, sticker and comic-adaption books in the Kamiwaza Wanda merchandising.
Toys from Japan's performance of Kamiwaza Wanda are also released in South Korea.
A board game based on the series, published by Samjin International, is also released in 2016.
