Kamiwaza Promin-Zu

The Kamiwaza Promin-Zu (Japanese: カミワザプロミンず, Kamiwaza Promin-Zu) segments are the second mini-anime segments in the original Kamiwaza Wanda season. They're the second series of Promin-Zu segments in the Kamiwaza Wanda anime series. They replaced the 'Promin-Zu' minisode segments, starting from episode 24. Each of the featured Promin's verses are sung by Wanda.

Segment structure[]

Wanda At The Start Of A 'Kamiwaza Promin-Zu' Segment — Wanda at the start of the first Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment

The structure for each of these segments go like this: The segment starts of with a short intro showing the 6 Promins (Turbomin, Gauzemin, Tonkmin, Kagimin, Railmin and Hasamin) and the Kamiwaza Wanda franchise's titular mascot Wanda. (It is the same short intro that's used in the Promin-Zu minisode segments.) Then, beginning the actual Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment, we cut to Wanda, who's wearing headphones and holding a microphone (In the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segments in some episodes, Wanda is either wearing or holding something else instead of either headphones or a microphone. For example: In the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment in episode 42, which features Freezemin, Wanda is wearing earmuffs instead of headphones.), announcing the featured Promin and takes out that said Promin's Kamiwaza Pro-card. The featured Promin then jumps out from his/her Kamiwaza Pro-card.

Turbomin does his Kamiwaza ability while Wanda sings a verse about him

While Wanda sings a verse about him/her, the featured Promin does his/her actions which lead to funny point when that verse is over, followed by Wanda popping up for a very short second and saying "Hai" (はい) which translates to "OK" in Japanese. (For the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment from original anime season episode 46, which featured Hanshamin, Wanda popped up for more than a second, right after the verse about Hanshamin was over, and shouts "Whoa!" instead.)

Each one of the 24 Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segments include a scene showing Wanda and 20 of the Promins. After a scene showing Wanda and various Promins, 2 extra stills showing the featured Promin are displayed. (Except for Yumemin as there were no extra stills showing him when he was featured in episode 47 of the anime's original season.) Then, Wanda and the featured Promin both do quick lip-synchronization of the word 'Promin' together. After all that comes the 'Promin-Zu' logo on a yellow background with 20 Promins surrounding it.

There are 24 Promins that are featured in the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segments, starting with Turbomin in episode 24 and finishing with Yumemin in episode 47.

Turbomin finds a clockwork tortoise and makes it move fast by riding on it. As the tortoise travels along, Turbomin eats his favorite packet of crisps. That was until he and the tortoise both fall off the cliff and into the river.
25	Chakkamin	Wanda is holding a different microphone.	A pair of brown shoes	Chakkamin, Dorirumin and Zuzumin are sitting by the campfire. Chakkamin did a good job lighting up the fireworks.
Chakkamin lights up a barbeque and cooks meat, noodles and corn and then lights up the candles on a birthday cake. However, Turbomin blew out the candles first before Chakkamin. After this, Chakkamin chases Turbomin.
26	Zuzumin	Wanda wears his headphones and holding the microphone as normal like in the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment from episode 24.	A blue steam-engine with a kiss mark	Zuzumin goes apple-picking with help from a giraffe. Zuzumin is sleeping with some furry animals.
Zuzumin is going to entertain us. He tames a hamster, a cat and a lion in order to jump through the hoop. Zuzumin was delighted until he and the 3 furry animals got frightened by a T-Rex.
27	Jetmin	Wanda is wearing sunglasses on his face.	A plate of Chinese-style dumplings	Jetmin just flew past an aeroplane. Turbomin and Gauzemin see Jetmin flying by.
Jetmin finds an old broom and he flies with it. In the sky, he draws a heart-shape. Then, some birds landed on the old broom behind Jetmin... but he continues flying with it.
28	Stopmin	Wanda is wearing a whistle around his neck.	A sparrow	Stopmin saves the goal by setting a time-freeze at the soccer-ball. Stopmin catches Turbomin who was trying to sneak a pot of yogurt from the fridge.
Stopmin uses his Kamiwaza ability to set a time-freeze on a car, a warthog, a bull and finally a basketball. Then, by accident, Stopmin crashes into a lamp-post.
29	Kagimin	Wanda is holding a fork with a tomato on it instead of a microphone.	A monkey	Kagimin has finally locked a T-Rex in a cage. Well Done Kagimin! Kagimin has found some treasure after opening a treasure chest.
Kagimin closes a door and a window and then zips up Turbomin's mouth. Then, Kagimin mistook a giant pig's snout for a keyhole, causing the giant pig to sneeze.
30	Gakkimin	Wanda is wearing a bowtie on his neck.	A Japanese cup of tea with a number 16 printed on it	Gakkimin is being the conductor. An album cover shows Chakkamin, Hasamin, Micmin and Gakkimin, making a reference to the cover of The Beatles' 'Abbey Road' album.
Gakkimin finds a piano and he plays with it. He then manipulates the other instruments and then dances to the music.
31	Gauzemin	Wanda has a stethoscope around his neck.	2 urchins	Gauzemin is rescuing Tonkmin from the sea. Gauzemin gives her friend Hasamin a pretty bow made from bandages.
Gauzemin finds a tree with a broken branch. She repairs the branch using her bandages. Then, Turbomin bumps into the tree and Gauzemin wraps the whole of Turbomin's head in bandages. Kagimin and the tree then both laugh at Turbomin.
32	Denkyumin	Wanda is holding a flashlight instead of a microphone.	A taiko drum	Denkyumin is riding on a flying reindeer next to Rudolph. Denkyumin lights himself up for Jishomin to read one of his books.
Denkyumin uses his Kamiwaza ability to help Turbomin guide through the cave. They saw 2 bats and then a ghost. Actually, the ghost was a hologram casted by Eishamin.
33	Hasamin	Wanda is holding a sweet potato (using tongs) instead of a microphone.	A Chinese lion	Accompanied by Micmin and Yumemin, Hasamin is going to cut the ribbon. Hasamin enjoys looking at some crabs.
Hasamin cuts 3 sheets of paper, making them into paper-tulips, paper-stars and a snowflake. Then, she plays a game of rock-paper-scissors with Turbomin. However, Turbomin beats Hasamin with a 'rock hand' sign so Hasamin gives it a 'paper hand' shape, making Turbomin unamused.
34	Micmin	Wanda is holding Micmin instead of a microphone.	A vase of roses	Micmin works as a voice actor. Micmin announces Railmin's singing performance.
Micmin jumps on the stage and starts singing, entertaining Kagimin, Turbomin, Gauzemin and Tonkmin. Then, Micmin sings even louder so anyone else on both Earth and the universe can hear him.
35	Tonkamin	Wanda is wearing a constuction helmet.	A Hawaiian ukulele	Tonkamin is breaking the walnuts open for Turbomin, Sharimin and Eishamin to eat. Tonkamin is working at a construction site.
Tonkamin sees Turbomin and Gauzemin who are tried after a long walk so he builds a bench for them to rest on. Then, it was raining so Tonkamin builds a shelter for Turbomin and Gauzemin as well as shelters for the birds and Jetmin.
36	Eishamin	Wanda is dressed as a film director. The microphone is still there despite of Wanda not holding it.	A stack of breakable boards	The film Eishamin is displaying has ended. (Notice on this extra still that Turbomin is in tears.) Micmin prepares Eishamin who is about to start displaying a film for Burgemin and his friend Sharimin to see.
Eishamin finds a projection screen and displays 3 films in different genres: sci-fi (Turbomin), horror (Gauzemin) and action (Kagimin and Chakkamin) and then, he displays a film starring himself as Godzilla. On the film, Eishamin fires a hologram, displaying Wanda, at a skyscraper building.
37	Jishomin	Wanda is holding a mop instead of a microphone. The microphone is still there despite of Wanda not holding it.	A globe	Jishomin is teaching. (Notice on this extra still that Turbomin is sleeping.) Turbomin had failed his test as Jishomin told him so.
Jishomin walks up to a set of 4 sums and he answers them all in one go. Jishomin then does the same thing to an activity puzzle where he has the name the objects. Then, a flower was drawn as the scene fades to another scene where Jishomin enjoys eating a dish a ramen.
38	Sukemin	Wanda is holding an umbrella instead of a microphone. The microphone is still there despite of Wanda not holding it.	Japanese fish statues (on both speakers)	Sukemin made his ice-lolly transparent and was delighted because he's the winner. Sukemin was playing cards with Turbomin and Gauzemin. He sees a joker card in Turbomin's hand. (Note: On both extra stills showing Sukemin, an image of Wanda is seen.)
Sukemin is playing a game of hide and seek. Using his Kamiwaza ability, he finds Zuzumin under a Japanese table, Turbomin behind the curtains and Railmin inside a closet. He then opens the window. Then, by accident, Sukemin made a small bird transparent, showing its skeleton.
39	Railmin	Wanda is wearing a train driver's hat.	A figure of a pheonix	Railmin is giving Freezemin, Dorirumin and Yumemin a train ride. Zuzumin and a huge number of his droplings are all getting in Railmin's way.
Railmin finds his own steam train and he rides on it. He rode past Turbomin, Gauzemin and Kagimin, over the hills and into space.
40	Dorirumin	Wanda is wearing a head-light.	A small cherry blossom tree	Dorirumin and Tonkmin are playing in the sand. Dorirumin is helping a colony of ants.
Stopmin accidently bumps into Turbomin, making him drop his onigiri. Therefore, Dorirumin has to fetch it from a hole in the ground. Dorirumin then ends up on a deserted island, without noticing Turbomin's onigiri.
41	Jaguchimin	Wanda has a water bottle around his neck.	A rocking horse	Jaguchimin and Chakkamin are giving Turbomin a bath. Jaguchimin dances around whilst watering the flowers in the meadow.
Jaguchimin uses his Kamiwaza ability to feed Zuzumin's camel. Then, Jaguchimin spouts water everywhere, turning the desert into a flowery meadow. Jaguchimin has been spouting water too much that the meadow then turns into the sea.
42	Freezemin	Wanda is wearing earmuffs and a scarf.	A cactus	Freezemin makes snow for Turbomin, Gauzemin, Kagimin and Chakkamin to have a snowball fight in. Freezemin made Tonkmin use a frozen banana as a hammer to hammer the nail on.
Freezemin finds a lake and turns it into an ice-rink for himself to ice-skate on. Whilst ice-skating, Freezemin uses his Kamiwaza ability to create 2 snowmen and an ice-castle. Then, Freezemin spins, creating a hole in the ice-rink and he falls through it. Poor Freezemin couldn't get out of the hole.
43	Burgemin	Wanda is wearing a fast food restaurant employee's hat.	A rubber duck	Burgemin was serving burgers to his android robot. Whilst sleeping, Burgemin had his burger-hat bitten by Chakkamin, Hasamin and Turbomin.
Burgemin is serving at his own restuarant and Turbomin is the customer, asking him for some burgers. That was until Burgemin trapped Turbomin in a burger by accident.
44	Sharimin	Wanda is dressed as a sushi chef.	A xylophone	Sharimin is serving sushi for his android robot. Sharimin is laughing as he puts wasabi on the sushi, worrying his android robot.
Sharimin puts the sushi he makes on Railmin's train. Then, Sharimin plays a trick on the Promins riding on Railmin's train by making sushi out of them. We then cut to a scene showing the planet Saturn, with the Promin sushi on its ring, transforming into Sharimin.
45	Mutemin	Wanda is wearing a face mask, on his face, and earplugs.	A figure of Urashima Tarō	That night, Mutemin's slumber was distracted by Turbomin's snoring. Mutemin has already muted out Turbomin prior to the morning when the alarm clock rings.
Mutemin uses her Kamiwaza ability to mute out the other Promins who were distracting Jishomin's peace and quiet. Then, Mutemin muted out Jishomin who accidently broke wind.
46	Hanshamin	Wanda is holding a kagami mochi, which is a cake with an small orange on the top, instead of a microphone.	Tutankhamun's mask	Hanshamin's mirrors show reflections of Turbomin and Jetmin. Hanshamin plays squash all by himself using his mirrors.
Hanshamin defends himself from the attacks of Gakkimin and Denkyumin and then the attacks of Freezemin and Chakkamin. After this, a damaged Wanda falls from above and lands on the ground onscreen.
47	Yumemin	Wanda is wearing a night-cap.	A sombrero hat	There were no extra stills showing Yumemin. Instead, there are 2 scenes showing the Promins waving at the audience.
Yumemin manipulates Turbomin's dream (which shows Turbomin flying in the sky), Jetmin's dream (which shows Jetmin traveling underwater) and Tonkmin and Railmin's dream (which shows both Tonkmin and Railmin in space) then he falls asleep and dreams of Wanda.

Trivia[]

In the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment in episode 47, there was a minor change to the scene of Wanda and the Promins: Wanda, who's right behind the Promins, is smiling with delight in happy tears.
- During the outro in the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment in episode 47, Wanda, spoken, says this in Japanese: "Wanda is hoping to see you again someday in the future. Thank you!".
The Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segments begin and end with the Promin-Zu logo like how the Promin-Zu minisode segments begin and end with but the end's more different: The background is colored yellow instead of blue and there are more Promins than 6 surrounding the logo.
- The Promin-Zu logo at the end of the Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment from episode 47 included a minor change as when Wanda pops up from the bottom-right corner, saying 'Wanda-Ho' whilst waving at the audience.
The Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segments from a few number of episodes of the original Kamiwaza Wanda anime season each have what's on the speaker at the start referencing pop music.
- The golden plant in a sky-blue vase in episode 24's Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment, featuring Turbomin, references 'Fields Of Gold' by Sting.
- The blue steam-engine with a kiss mark in episode 26's Kamiwaza Promin-Zu segment, featuring Zuzumin, references 'Love Train' by The O'Jays.
