Jii Yota (Japanese: 与田じい) is a minor character in Kamiwaza Wanda and an elderly man. He is known for running his own sweet shop at Kirakira First Street.

Appearance[]
Jii Yota is an elderly man with grey hair and black eyes. He wears brown trousers, a grey shirt, light-brown shoes, a red bow-tie and a dark-green hat. Jii Yota usually has his walking stick with him.

When Jii Yota was a young man, he had black hair and black eyes. He used to wear a white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Personality[]
Jii Yota is a clever elderly man who runs his own sweet shop at Kirakira First Street since he was a young man. According to episode 14, his prized possession is his electric fan in which he's been sharing it with his wife Baa Yota.

Kamiwaza Wanda[]
Jii Yota made his debut in episode 6 when he was playing shogi with Kirakira First Street's chairman Ichiban-Hoshi Teru as his opponent. Later, he gave Mirai some words of advice when Mirai was thinking about doing pratices for the singing competition.
In episode 10, Jii Yota was forced to do karaoke by Bug-Micmin and Bug-Gakkimin, thanks to Gigaga of the Bug Bytes.
In episode 14, Jii Yota requested Yuto and Wanda to repair his electric fan for him and his wife Baa Yota.
In episode 19, Nicole was doing an interview with Jii Yota but Jii Yota got put to sleep by Yumemin.
In episode 24, Jii Yota tried testing the sweets at his sweet shop just in case the sweets were given too much sugar.
In episode 40, Jii Yota told the legend of the Tengu to Yuto who was looking at a Tengu mask.
Jii Yota made cameo appearances in episode 46 and episode 47.

Kamiwaza Wanda (original manga series)[]
Chapter 05 is the only original Kamiwaza Wanda manga series chapter Jii Yota appeared in when he came to see Yuto and Wanda and asked them if they enjoyed their ice-cream. As a reply, Yuto and Wanda said yes.
